
The Sensory-Friendly Open Dress Rehearsal
MHS Theatre is thrilled to announce the return of our Theatre for ALL: Sensory-Friendly Dress Rehearsal for this year's Spring Musical, Fiddler on the Roof!
The show will take place in the MHS Auditorium on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, at 6pm.
The combined efforts of our students, MHS theatre families, and MHS community volunteers ensure the success of this inclusive performance.
Some Key Points About the Sensory-friendly Open Dress Rehearsal:

This event is FREE to all attendees.

We can only allow up to 60% capacity for this performance so you must sign up beforehand in order to attend.

There will be a 15-minute intermission between Acts 1 and 2.

Snacks are welcome during the event, so bring your favorite things to eat.

Light refreshments will also be provided right outside the auditorium during intermission.

Guests are encouraged to bring electronics for their comfort. We will also have earplugs and sensory fidgets on hand.

Lights & sounds will be reduced for this performance.

A "cool-down room" will be available for anyone needing a break from the show. There will be a live stream of the show broadcast at a much lower volume in the cooldown room.

Closed captions will be displayed on teleprompters during the performance.

There is handicapped parking available along the front, rear, and side of the building.

The main entrance on Early Street provides easy, same-level access to the performance space.

An elevator is available to those parking in the rear of the building.

"Meet Your Seat" Monday, March 9th at 6pm

We will open the auditorium to provide time for you to visit our theater, walk through the space, and "meet your seat" the day before the show!
